Hunter defeats Dwarven Militia

As told by Arod

Fellow Exiles,

Late in the evening of the 36th day of Spring, Hunter and Dwarven Militia met in good-spirited competition. Sec'ulaar agreed to serve as our referee, a few questions about rules were hammered out, and the Hunt began. Arocet, hunting for Hunter, and Ciric, hunting for DM, headed off into the wilderness to slay as many different beasts as possible.

Both sides tried tricks to trip the other side up: several DMer's tried to block Hunter from exiting the North Beach, while Trena followed Ciric for quite awhile before finally ambushing him in the south forest with a pack of large and giant vermine.

Hunter managed to stay together fairly well, ruthlessly leaving their leader bleeding on the floor of the east forest. The marsh was Hunter's undoing, and several rescues had to be performed after the competition. DM was more scattered throughout the competition, which no doubt hampered their efforts.

When Sec'ulaar called an end to the competition, Arocet of Clan Hunter had slain 52 different creatures, vs. Dwarven Militia's 29. Once again, Clan Hunter was victorious--but everyone really won in the end, as Hunter and DM have long been and remain strong allies.

Hunter hails the competitive spirit of Dunilsar, and our worthy allies, Dwarven Militia!
