It was a great event. It was challenging to say the least! Many Hunters fell, as did our opponents. Here are the Highlights that I saw.

We left the Troilus hut in a rush as StormTalon yelled Go! Right away when we left I knew we were in good shape. A few of us shot to the south and the main group headed North. Some of RB shot to the south but most of them circle outside the hut for a moment. I think we confused them by splitting up in such a defined fashion, although it wasn't on purpose.

I had a couple worries at first, Me, Javelin, Rellim, Tam, and ToriAnn (and others out of my visual range) rushing to N pass with a few of their members very close and ahead of us. Luckily it was their healers and escorts. They did not bother with us, even on the bridges. We hit N pass pretty much untouched. However I had lost all visual sight of ToriAnn and others. Ahhhh, there's Tam! Me and Tam busted into GMV about the same time. Rushing east and south. We got split up a few times but I knew we had to end up in the same place.

Scaling across the wall I found the entrance to the Chiefs place. Tam shoots by totally missing the entrance, 20 grey on his tail. I shoot south to try to get him north. For a second I had stopped and readied a yell, then I thought... ToriAnn was ahead of us, she's in there right now!!!

A quick U-turn and I am in the Chiefs place. I run past Einstien, who had fell in a really great place, right near the exit. I \yell Hunter! to locate Alian. He yells back and I shoot north toward his yell. There is poor ol ToriAnn trying to heal and handle a Grey and two wendeka, one of which was a night. I quickly relieved her of that duty. I circle a few times with the badies in chase and check back with Alian, he's green now.

I know time is short and they would not have to yell to find Einstein. I had no clue as to whether we are in front of or behind RB. I \yell Go!. Alian wasted no energy as he was off and past me within no time. We get to the exit just in time to get out in front of Einstein, it was the wining factor. He's Red, Alian is shining....haven taken the time to heal. We burst back into the GMV main chamber. Einstein and group directly on our tail. I was following Alian when he ran right dead smack into a mob of Greys, we break south away from the mob and try to cut west and north against the rocks. Alian seeing a no joy there quickly breaks south again. Einstein still on my tail and red I see the opportunity for a little chance taking. I slow to a crawl and Einstein runs right into me. Now the greymers are closing fast on old Einstein, so he has to break west and north to avoid me, what he didnt see is what Alian saw, a group of Greymers closing in from all side except south. We went south, he went north, Einstein of coarse fell almost instantly.

We ran south until we could get out of the rocks and head north again. The run north was uneventful really. A couple quick dodges and lures and we were home free, or so we thought. Runner had planted a Kudzu farm from the T in North pass all the way to the exit. We had to chop our way through. And we did! With wendeka whacking at our tails (and Butts for the Human type) we pushed on. Finally we got out. Runner tries to get in the way but Alian rushed passed untouched, I broke right and went around runner myself. Runner tried to follow but another brake job on my part and it was all over.

Runner called a no joy for the clan before we even hit East field. I would like to say that Everyone did an outstanding job! I know some of our younger members fell before they even got in GMV. I just want you guys to know that it's totally ok. GMV is not an easy place. It takes allot of "hands on" exp to know the run of that place. Honestly, your job was the most important. The size of our clan surprised them and most likely intimidated allot of them. That counts for allot! I felt a mental advantage from the beginning. Everyone did their jobs to the best of their ability and that's what counts.
