88th Day of Autumn (Nov 8, 2001), Rellim accepts the Office of MotH.

Year 544 (Rel'lim)

This is one of the Golden Ages of the clan, marked by several points of interest:

52nd Day of Winter (Nov 21, 2001) MotH Rellim declares Toriann inactive, according to the Rules of the Hunt and her extended absence from the Lands.

63rd Day of Winter (Nov 24, 2001), D'Noma Thornapple asks to be Inactive.

72nd Day of Winter (Nov 26, 2001), Koric, Holder of a Horus Ledger, is Inducted, Sponsored by Felicity.

88th Day of Spring (Dec 22, 2001), New Rules of the Hunt adopted.

26th Day of Summer (Jan 7, 2002), Tater is Inducted, Sponsored first by Javelin, then by Rellim.

84th Day of Summer (Jan 12, 2002), Kirth Gersen is Inducted.

Year 545 (Rel'lim)

Summer, Intraclan disputes occur that result in Ainvar leaving the Clan. Discussion and mediation with Felicity eventually resolve some issues, and Ainvar returns (still a Golden Age, you know).

43rd Day of Autumn, (Apr 22, 2002), Due to a season of conflict and ill temper within the Clan, the MotH submits Communication Guidelines to define appropriate etiquette for Clan communication. These are summarily adopted by a 17-3 vote.

76th Day of Autumn, (Apr 30, 2002), Bor is Inactive.

80th Day of Autumn, (May 1, 2002), Toriann is reinstated.

84th Day of Autumn, (May 2, 2002), Asren is Inducted, Sponsored by Rhys.

Year 546 (Rel'lim / Rieger)

68th Day of Autumn (April 28, 2002) Tam is Inducted as a return Hunter, Sponsored by Rellim, who in his day was sponsored by Tam, and then in later years (554) was sponsored by Tumble to rejoin the Clan. Interestingly, Rellim originally sponsored Tumble. Mystics argue that this tangle of events represents a "wormhole" effect in spacetime.

So ends the Golden Age, and enter Darker Days.

68th Day of Winter (May 20, 2002), Rieger, Holder of a Proximus Ledger, and well thought of Hunter, ascends to the Office of MotH: He earns 11 votes, defeating Katan's 10 votes. Voter turnout is 100%. Is the Clan Divided?

This MotH is memorable for his Absence. Some feel he might have attempted to rule as he heals, from afar. Aside from one new member Induction, little is heard from this MotH between Summer 546 and Summer 547. Upon taking Office, the Active Members declines steadily to a low of 14. The Tragedy does not end with Rieger's relinquishing of the Office of MotH. Clouds Darken. Many pine for the Old Days...

81th Day of Winter (May 23, 2002), Torian is Inactive, ending one of the shortest spurts of Activity on Record.

44th Day of Spring (Jun 5, 2002), Lex turns in her Badge.

72th Day of Spring (Jun 12, 2002), Fist of Fluff is Inducted, Sponsored by Rellim.

72th Day of Autumn (Jul 26, 2002), Rhys turns in his Badge, amidst a Cursing War with Prue and her allies. In large part the clan chose not to engage in this War. History remembers that Rhys left the Clan to insulate it from a bad reputation. In fact, it should have fallen to the MotH to take his badge on the basis of Rhys being publicly Reviled. But Rieger is conspicuously absent. So the days darken...

45th Day of Spring 546 - 52nd Day of Summer 547 (Jun 6, 2002 - Sep 25, 2002), Katan leaves, then returns. His spirit is in conflict, and he leaves for good.

Year 547 (Rieger / Rel'lim)

15th Day of Summer (Sep 16, 2002), Rieger officially steps down from the Office of MotH. By Law, Rellim assumes the Office. Yet the damage is done, and the ripples expand.

49th Day of Summer (Sep 24, 2002), Rellim announces that he does not have Rhys' resignation and he is therefore not Officially out of the Clan (some folks can get away with these things ...) Yet even the Midas Touch that Rellim had in his Golden Age as MotH fails to bring Peace to the Clan. The Storms threaten...

56th Day of Summer (Sep 26, 2002), Sengir turns in his Badge, dissatisfied at the lack of clan unity.

68th Day of Summer (Sep 29, 2002), Tater turns in her Badge, apologizing for the bad timing.

72nd Day of Summer (Sep 30, 2002), Javelin turns in his Badge, because "we no longer ACT as the Hunters we once were, myself included. We continually ignore the Rules of the Hunt, and our guidelines."

76th Day of Summer (Oct 1, 2002), Krendaa leaves the Lands, stating the clan is no longer a family, asking, "Is this the end of Hunter? I don't think so. Is it time to give the clan a major work over? I think so."

8th Day of Autumn (Oct 6, 2002), Arod calls for Koric and Felicity to turn in their Badges.

10th through 14th Day of Autumn (Oct 7 & 8, 2002), The MotH refuses to post a Poll on the Matter. Arod admits the charges are contrived, yet there is no retaliation (although Tumble posts a Rogue Poll calling for Demerits for Arod, for abusing the Rules, but Authorities conspire to remove the Poll). These trying times show a divided Clan, and in Arod's defense History should report his claim that he had the interests of the Clan at heart. However, sayings abound about "best intentions." Ye take Heed.

7th Day of Autumn (Oct 8, 2002), Rhys is listed as Active.

18th Day of Autumn (Oct 9, 2002), Thalion is Inducted, Sponsored by Rellim.

48th Day of Autumn (Oct 16, 2002), Tam returns from an unexpected absence.

Year 548 (Kirth Gersen)

7th Day of Winter (Oct 28th, 2002), Kirth Gersen becomes MotH. All Actives vote, and Kirth becomes the first recorded MotH-select to earn a minority of votes, with 7, compared to 5 for Fist of Fluff, and a strange 3 Abstains. The Stewardship of Kirth marks a pivotal time in the History of the Clan. But the Dark Days do not end. Kirth energetically engages the Office, but the Clan is like a ship shot through with holes, and sinking... Matters worsen, and despite the best intentions, History records a downward spiral, to a low of 8 Active members by Winter 551.

7th Day of Winter (Oct 28th, 2002), Kirth returns Javelin's Badge to him. Technically in violation of the Rules, this act is generally well received, owing to the high reputation of Javelin, and the perceived instability of the Clan.

32nd Day of Winter (Nov 3rd, 2002), Baltok leaves, but does not turn in his badge.

7th Day of Summer (Dec 12, 2002), Stormtalon leaves the lands.

Year 549 (Kirth Gersen)

61st Day of Winter (Feb 6th, 2003), Nair al Saif is Inducted, Sponsored by Kirth Gersen.

2nd Day of Spring (Feb 14th, 2003), Garibaldi announces his effective absence from the Lands.

32nd Day of Spring (Feb 21, 2003) Ard Ri and Ainvar leave the Lands.

Year 550 (Tam)

5th Day of Spring (May 21, 2003), Axia declares herself Inactive.

Kirth declares himself Inactive, following the MotH election, but fulfills his duty to declare Tam as MoTH.

76th Day of Spring (May 31, 2003), Tam ascends to the Office of MotH, as the sole contender earning 9 votes, all of the reported active members. Although Tam was selected as MotH in Winter 550, he is not Inaugurated until Spring. Almost magically, the Fortunes of the Clan swing ponderously upward during Tam's shortened term.

Kirth Gersen secretly turns in his Badge, recording in his diary, "My tenure as a clan leader of clan Hunter was an utter disaster. When I finally was able to leave the office, I decided to turn in my clan badge. I am not worthy of membership in the clan I wasn't able to serve properly as their leader." This is not discovered until Summer 551.

49th Day of Autumn (Jul 7, 2003), Baltok returns, still a member in Good Standing.

Year 551 (Tam / Rieger)

With only 8 Active members, and the MotH being unable to perform (i.e. a low of 7 functionally active members), Arod performs an Induction Ceremony in the MotH's stead. This is in violation of the contemporary rules, as adopted in Rellim's Golden Age, that state, "Only the Master of the Hunt can induct the elected new members of the Clan. Violation of this rule is grounds for immediate dismissal."

Arod brashly states that, "If anyone really wants to try to strip the guy holding Hunter Badge #1 of his membership, catch me if you can, sucker!" However, the violation is overlooked by the MotH and Clan (who, by and large have never seen the Rules). Suggestions at the time to revise the Rules to accommodate this contingency are not acted upon. Such is the state of Clan governance. The offense is rediscovered in Summer 554, during Tumble's term of Office.

16th Day of Winter (Jul 21, 2003), Zarr undergoes an Induction Ceremony, Sponsored by Fist of Fluff.

77th Day of Winter (Aug 5, 2003), Matt is Inducted, Sponsored by Thalion. Wrapper and Sa'Wrap are Inducted, Sponsored by Rellim. An excerpt from the induction. An accounting of the post-Induction hunt tells that almost every active member is present for the hunt (nine members). The Storm of recent seasons seems to abate, and yet...as quickly as new blood joins the Hunt, older members fall away.

87th Day of Spring (Aug 30, 2003), Lord Usagi Yojimbo leaves for the Mainlands.

3rd Day of Summer (Aug 31, 2003), Felicity and Koric announce they are leaving the Lands

12th Day of Summer (Sep 2, 2003), Demian is Inducted, Sponsored by Arod.

20th Day of Summer (Sep 4, 2003), This season marks the rising conflict over the mystical "portals" that are associated with the Cloud and Mirror. The ethics of their use is unclear. MotH Tam proposes that Clan Hunter should be Guardians of the Portals. No policy is adopted after discussion.

80th Day of Summer (Sep 19, 2003), Tam steps down as MotH, citing an inability to fulfill his duties. In a public surprise, Rieger, not Rellim, steps forward to replace Tam. This is a bold dedication to the Rules, on behalf of Rieger, the Absent MotH. History applauds his courage to revisit the Office.

Year 552 (Fist of Fluff)

8th Day of Spring (Nov 8, 2003), Fist of Fluff assumes the Office of MotH, running unopposed. In an attempt not to bungle things, Rieger closes the election poll once the minimum number of votes are in, but accidentally posts how everybody votes. Some folks are not cut out to be MotH...

This time in Office marks significant growth of the Clan, with new members stepping forth to recruit others in turn. Communication is enhanced, some Clan Offices are filled, and much of the conflict of the previous years is absent, owing in part to a changing of the Guard...

45th Day of Spring (Nov 15, 2003)*, Caravaggio is Inducted, Sponsored by Fist of Fluff.

20th Day of Summer (Dec 1, 2003), K'vynn is Inducted, Sponsored by Thalion and Highlander is Inducted, Sponsored by Sa'Wrap.

33rd Day of Summer (Dec 4, 2003), Jinx is Inducted, Sponsored by Kvynn.

56th Day of Summer (Dec 10, 2003), Baltok turns in his Badge, eventually joining the Rat Bastards.

59th Day of Summer (Dec 11, 2003), Fist of Fluff reactivates the Clan Bank Account and K'vynn becomes the acting Moneybags.

61st - 63rd Day of Summer (Dec 11 or 12, 2003)*, Gunslinger is Inducted, Sponsored by Zarr.

63rd Day of Summer (Dec 12, 2003), Arod comments positively on the size of the Clan, and the potential that it will perpetuate without his presence. Some wonder if he is considering retirement....

Year 553 (Fist of Fluff / Tumble)

12th Day of Winter (Jan 12, 2004)*, Finnias is presumed Inducted at this time, Sponsored by Gunslinger.

23rd of Winter (Jan 15, 2004), Fist of Fluff, who inducted seven members, calls for a MotH election after only half a term in Office. History is left to ponder why, and whether his own comments about "Tyranny" hinted at his true plans. He leaves the Official Members Database horribly outdated, and fails to record the last two Inductions during his term. Perhaps this is related to his confusion in ending his term early. On this basis, History remembers this MotH as the Record-Lite MotH. His term ends with 17 eligible voters (as best as can be recounted...)

28th through 41st Day of Winter (Jan 16-19, 2004), A Clan Moneyhunt is orchestrated by K'vynn, with the Clan divided into teams. The Contest brings in nearly 40,000 coins. After disbursing nearly 14,000 coins in prize money (with several thousand donated back to the Clan), the Clan Funds nearly triple!

41st Day of Winter (Jan 19, 2004)*, Aeol is also presumed Inducted at this time, Sponsored by Sa'Wrap.

12th Day of Summer (Feb 25, 2004), This season Tumble is inaugurated to the Office of MotH. In a charged election, a three-way tie with Kvynn and Gunslinger occurs. History will question how 17 eligible voters can create a three-way tie, but this suits the times. Tumble becomes the first MotH selected by Orion, through the roll of a "20" on a 20-sided die.

Tumble works from a platform of Change and Delegation of Authority, in order to strengthen the Clan from within. Such a Big Government approach is not well suited to the Clan. His term begins almost regally, but History may not look on Tumble's term with much favor. Emboldened by his perception that Orion chose him to lead, Tumble changes the Office to "Hunt Lord" and introduces the "Sceptre of Orion." His term is marked by conflict, insult, and struggle, which strain the fabric of Clan Hunter. And yet, not all is bleak...

48th Day of Summer (Mar 5, 2004), A newly updated members list is created.

6th Day of Autumn (Mar 17, 2004), The Rules are modified to allow the MotH to delegate the Powers of Induction for new members.

7th Day of Autumn (Mar 17, 2004), Omega is Inducted, Sponsored by Gunslinger. This is the first legal Induction of a new member performed by a Hunter who is not the MotH.

12th Day of Autumn (Mar 18, 2004), Jinx organizes multiple hunts with Clan Light & Shadow to explore Sarra Desert.

" Hunt Lord" Tumble learns how to design inventive but unpopular polls, and political conflict is fierce. Tumble hints at declaring Martial Law. At this time of crisis, it becomes apparent that the absence of Our Cherished Scrolls has not helped. History is divided on the intentions of the Clan Leader. Some whisper, "Mad Emporer" and "Drunk with power," and even, "He's not so bad!"

Year 554 (Tumble)

36th Day of Winter (Apr 15, 2004), Rellim travels to the Orga Village with a small force to vanquish Orga and begin a Zo Spirit Quest. His spirit seeks his Ancestors, and his future is uncertain. The Clan is vigilant and Caravaggio's keen spirit senses Rellim's return within this very season.

7th Day of Spring (Apr 30,2004), An unprecedented Impeachement Poll shows 42% of the Clan supporting Impeachment of the "Hunt Lord". Conflict continues....

32nd Day of Spring (May 6, 2004), Rellim turns in his Badge.

33rd Day of Spring (May 6, 2004), Sa'Wrap turns in his Badge.

38th Day of Spring (May 8, 2004), Javelin waves. Only much later is it clear that he has left.

41th Day of Spring (May 8, 2004), Tumble calls for a Clan Meeting, preparing to Banish those who oppose him. Instead, he emerges repentant, and delivers an apology to the Clan. The term "Hunt Lord" is discarded, and the Sceptre of Orion laid to rest.

53rd Day of Spring (May 11, 2004), Amberdrake is Inducted, Sponsored by K'vynn and Inducted by him.

20th Day of Autumn (Jun 16, 2004), Rellim is Inducted, Sponsored by Tumble.

24th Day of Autumn (Jun 17, 2004), The Clan Scrolls are Officially available. History thanks Tam for preserving them, and is especially appreciative of the efforts on behalf of K'vynn to restore them. The Clan thanks the Puddleby Scroll Archive for hosting these Scrolls.

51st Day of Autumn (Jun 24, 2004), Rieger requests to be termed Inactive.

52nd Day of Autumn (Jun 24, 2004), Tumble becomes a Scholar MotH and reassembles the Lost History of the Clan, dating back to MotH D'Noma Thornapple.

61st Day of Autumn (Jun 26, 2004), Exiles defeat Rowl in a long battle, after Fat Alice sells a coded book that addresses the ability of Rowl to lyfelidate standing exiles. Rowl's reign of terror on Kizmia's Island is ended, although many exiles remain lyfed.

Year 555 (Gunslinger)

2nd Day of Winter (Jul 4, 2004), Arod becomes the only Hunter on record to receive a Black Mark from a MotH.

6th Day of Winter (Jul 5, 2004), MotH Tumble submits a final poll to adopt a revision of the Rules of the Hunt. This revision contains a Polling process and a description of Clan Governance. It is rooted in the Paradox of Leadership, which defines the MotH as leader, yet powerless to compel any Hunter to act against their own will. As such, the MotH is a principle and symbol, with only such authority as each member of Clan Hunter grants. The Proposed Rules serve to define some protocols, but do not grant executive powers (i.e. the authority to enforce rules) to any persons or groups within the Clan.

20th Day of Winter (Jul 8, 2004), Xenos is inducted, Sponsored by Rellim.

20th Day of Winter (Jul 8, 2004), Gunslinger is Inaugurated as MotH, with 8 yes votes, running unopposed. His platform is noble, reaching to the Heart of the Clan's identity, promising "...to fortify that bond to Orion, and uphold the Ideals of our Spiritual Benefactor" and to "usher us into a Golden Era where we shall see the Evil flee." His term sees the impressive addition of seven new members. The Golden Era is marred by crisis, resulting in the stripping of one Clan Badge and the relinquishing of two others.

34th Day of Winter (Jul 12, 2004), The Clan voices a 70% majority that no Official Reprise should be issued toward Arod for his induction of Zarr, back in the Summer of 550, in a good-natured effort to let bygones be bygones, and due to Zarr's Good Reputation within the Clan.

68th Day of Winter (Jul 20, 2004), The proposed revisions to the Rules of the Hunt drafted by Tumble falls a single vote shy of passing. Discussion leads many to see that the existing Rules are in need of change.

88th Day of Winter (Jul 25, 2004), Garion is inducted, sponsored by Caravaggio. The Clan Lodge is Officially open, supported by the Clan in a second round of polling, championed by Kvynn.

51st Day of Spring (Aug 7, 2004), A vote passes to change the opening lines of the Rules to remove references to the Mad Emperor. However, this line-item approach to Rules revisions, favored by the MotH, proves unwieldy. The change is never implemented, on the grounds that future changes may be made.

64th Day of Summer (Sep 1, 2004), Zarr declares himself inactive.

84th Day of Summer (Sep 6, 2004), The lands are brightened by the return of DNoma, absent since the Winter of 544.

10th Day of Autumn (Sep 10, 2004), Soul Hunter is inducted, sponsored by Gunslinger. 11 votes are unanimous, with 5 votes uncast.

19th Day of Autumn (Sep 12, 2004), Caravaggio is not listed as active.

32nd Day of Autumn (Sep 15, 2004), Aethelred is inducted, sponsored by Fist of Fluff. 9 votes are unanimous, with 5 votes uncast.

43rd Day of Autumn (Sep 18, 2004) Finnian and D'Noma are inducted.

Year 556 (Gunslinger)

51st Day of Winter (Oct 12, 2004) Yojimbo is removed from the Clan.

This is a telling chapter in the History of the Clan, it being the only occasion a Badge has been removed from an undeserving exile in the clan. This marks a crisis in leadership where some members are driven from the Clan and others are divided on the issues. A timeline of the specific incident is summarized in the clan forum scroll #9292.

On the 15th Day of Autumn, 555, the Clan Mystic, K'vynn, initiates a discussion as to Yojimbo's proper status. Speculation abounds, and within a single Zodiac the Clan universally agrees that Yojimbo is no longer a Hunter. Some plead with conviction for a rapid recovery of the Badge—by the 43rd day of Autumn, the MotH calls it a "done matter.” Yojimbo is seen in the lands repeatedly, yet does not turn in his Badge. On the 19th day of Winter, 556, K'vynn and Tumble each state their intent to reclaim the Badge.

On the 51st day of Winter, K'vynn, Jinx, and Aethelred officially recover the Badge.

History notes a divided response from the clan, from pride, to relief, to disappointment, to a statement from Arod that it is an ugly precedent and an insult to the MotH. Jinx defends her actions with a surprising "enough chatter, act NOW!" attitude. K'vynn demands an apology from the founder (which never comes). Rel'lim claims a rule was violated. Arod and Tumble claim none was broken.

60th Day of Winter (Oct 14, 2004) K'vynn turns in his Badge, in disgust. History will note K'vynn was an exemplary Hunter, with achievements including the Great Coin Hunt of 553 (which garnered nearly 40,000 coins), Restoration of the Lost Clan Scrolls, Recruitment of Jinx and Amberdrake, Construction of the Clan Lodge, and the lawful recovery of a Clan Badge.

64th Day of Winter (Oct 15, 2004) Amidst this conflict, the MotH posts a poll to determine whether K'vynn, Jinx, and Aethelred should be punished. The MotH announces he will resign in two Zodiacs. Ultimately the MotH removes the poll, and retains the Office of MotH.

64th Day of Winter (Oct 15, 2004) Aethelred turns in his Badge.

15th Day of Summer (Nov 16, 2004) Aethelred's Badge is returned, following a vote (10 yes, 1 abstain, 4 votes uncast).

19th Day of Summer (Nov 17, 2004) An opinion poll shows the Clan generally supports a "Strong MotH," as proposed by Tumble (5 strong; 7 unclear, undecided, or abstain; 0 weak; 3 or 4 votes uncast).

84th Day of Summer (Dec 3, 2004) Amelia and Lisette are inducted by Thalion, who sponsored both of them (12 yes, and 4 votes uncast).

19th Day of Autumn (Dec 19, 2004) The MotH engages in a flurry of Administrative Activity, reorganizing the Clan Forum, and suggesting a coin hunt, an exploration of the Orga Outback, and a hunt for a Scarmis Egg to help cure K'vynn of his lyfe disease, citing "he was a good mate." Sadly, the coin hunt, orga outback exploration, and scarmis egg quest do not occur, and do not promote intraclan unification.

By mid-Autumn, Arod submits three revisions of Clan Rules. Crafted behind the scenes, each is discussed by the Clan. None are posted by the MotH for Official adoption to replace the existing rules. Between Badge losses, Rules Debates, and political struggle, the single indication of Clan prosperity is an active tally of 21 eligible voters, the most in a dozen years.

Year 557 (Rel'lim)

61st Day of Winter (Jan 10, 2005) Rellim is inaugurated into the Office of MotH. He earns 12 votes, to 6 for Matt and 2 for Arod.

The three platforms are unique to each candidate: Arod wishes to pursue his vision of Rules Reformation. Matt emphasizes the values of the Order of the Knights of Orion. Rellim vows to restore honor, respect, and strength to the Office of MotH (recent MotH's do not voice insult at the implication). Upon inauguration, the new MotH demands an Oath of Fealty, per the rules, although the practice of an Oath is a Tradition in name only. In addition, the MotH quickly identifies points on his agenda, appoints Officers, and gathers opinions and thoughts on Clan Government and the Role of the MotH. The early term is marked by Favorable Tidings in the lands, including visitations from the Greatest Ancient to the lands, organization of dangerous Clan Hunts lead by Garion and Gunslinger, and the adoption of Rules that support a Strong MotH.

88th Day of Spring (Feb 8, 2005) Garion becomes a squire to Nair al Saif, Knight of Orion. The other Knights are Matt and Omega.

7th Day of Summer (Feb 10, 2005) Aylis is inducted, sponsored by Gunslinger, with 11 yes and 2 abstaining votes, and 2 votes uncast. Notably, it is over a year between Aylis' vote into the Clan (80th Day of Spring, year 556; Nov 11, 2004), and her actual induction.

11th Day of Summer (Feb 11, 2005) Gunslinger reports JoeGM is seen in the lands. Following this, more exiles are active, Rangers are a subclass, additional healer circle tests and trainers are introduced, positive karmic balances become visible ('blue names'), and other challenges increase the activity in the lands.

43rd Day of Summer (Feb 19, 2005) Omega accepts Dnoma as a squire to the Knights of Orion. Garion leads a major Clan Hunt to the dreaded Pitch Caves.

47th Day of Summer (Feb 20, 2005) Gunslinger leads a lengthy Hunt through Kizmia's Island's interior.

27th Day of Autumn (Mar 3, 2005) A major rules revision is passed. Of Historical note, during Rellim's MotHship of 543-546, a substantial rules revision was accepted. Together, these mark Rellim as a Warrior and a Law Maker. Rellim's Proposal receives 14 yes, 3 no, and 1 abstain. Despite 78% of the vote supporting this set of rules, History notes 17% dissent.

Year 558 (Rel'lim)

23rd Day of Winter (Mar 30, 2005) M'Norri is inducted, sponsored by Zarr, with 14 yes, 1 no, 1 abstain, and 4 votes uncast.

51st Day of Winter (Apr 6, 2005) Gunslinger becomes the first Ranger in Clan Hunter, a short 4 Zodiacs after the Ranger Quest has been discovered.

11th Day of Spring (Apr 18, 2005) Finnias and Amelia declare themselves Inactive.

39th Day of Spring (Apr 25, 2005) Fist of Fluff declares himself Inactive.

84th Day of Spring (May 6, 2005) Fist of Fluff announces he will turn in his badge, since he no longer visits the lands. History recalls that Fist of Fluff was an outstanding MotH in the Year 552, and inducted seven members in his single year in Office.

2nd Day of Summer (May 8, 2005) Gunslinger is knighted, squired by Omega.

19th Day of Summer(May 12, 2005) Larris is inducted. Sponsored by Caravaggio, with 15 yes, 2 abstains; the true number of voters is listed as 18, but this may not be accurate.

35th Day of Summer (May 16, 2005) Amelia becomes the first Fifth Circle Hunter Healer, with Omega a close second.

56th Day of Summer (May 21, 2005) D'Noma is knighted, squired by Omega.

72nd Day of Summer (May 25, 2005) Demian becomes the first Hunter to become a Champion.

6th Day of Autumn (May 31, 2005)The MotH calls for new MotH nominees. None step forward. Several members urge Rellim to serve an additional term. He eventually agrees, despite a certain level of "grumpiness."

84th Day of Autumn (June 19, 2005) Rieger, holder of a Proximus ledger, lectures at the University of Puddleby.

Year 559 (Rel'lim)

51st Day of Winter (Jul 3, 2005) Rieger creates the ability for exiles studying in the library to keep apprised of current events in the lands, and Rellim proposes a Hunter-led assault on the Abyss, using this new tool to gather support from exiles in the library. This device evolves into: http://www.deltatao.com/clanlord/status/

64th Day of Winter (Jul 6, 2005) Lisette becomes a Champion.

80th Day of Winter (Jul 7, 2005) Dunilsar is revived, Hunter places 4th.

51st Day of Spring (Jul 25, 2005) Rellim re-elected as MotH 12-1-1.

This term is initially marked by attempts to spur clan activity, but the Office of MotH falls perilously silent, with Tumble threatening to step in and conduct emergency MotH elections in the Year 561. The MotH rallies, and eventually completes his term. In the heavy silence, elected members linger without Inductions, the sole remaining Founder weakens with age and eventually passes on quietly, and the History Scrolls are neglected.

56th Day of Spring (Jul 26, 2005) Turalyon is inducted, sponsored by Gunslinger, with 13 "yes," 1 "no," and 1 "abstain" votes.

60th Day of Summer (Aug 18, 2005) D'Noma leaves the islands on a quest, hoping to return.

23rd Day of Autumn (Aug 31, 2005) Lisette declares herself inactive.

27th Day of Autumn (Sep 1, 2005) Yharren is inducted, sponsored by D'Noma, with 11 "yes" and 4 "abstain" votes.

Spring 250 (October) Peaceton is accessible by ship. A strange trade route is briefly established whereby exiles transfer goods from Peaceton to Puddleby by the transdimensional medium of Purgatory.

Year 560 (Rel'lim)

88th Day of Autumn (Dec 13, 2005) Rhys, who had vanished without a trace, is seen in the lands.

Year 561 (Peace and Quiet)

Winter 561 No MotH election is conducted. The Office of MotH falls eerily quiet.

16th Day of Winter (Dec 17, 2005) Finegas is inducted, sponsored by Omega, with a unanimous 11 "yes" votes. He is promptly squired by Omega. Barrow and Shalyn are elected at the same time, with 11 "yes" votes too, yet are curiously not inducted.

27th Day of Spring (Jan 11, 2006) Zarr turns in his badge and leaves the lands.

27th Day of Summer (Feb 2, 2006) D'Noma reports Arod's death.

Hunters:
Last night I felt a sudden irrestible urge to rush to the bedside of my dear sweet husband. There I found him suffering from the ailments of extreme old age. For many months now he has not been able to walk or talk without great pain. Some of you may have seen him crawling out of the library, or lying by my side under the tree, with his head in my lap. It was all I could do to keep the tears from falling at the sight of this Noble Fen who was once a stalwart Hunter. He has long been unable to take much nourishment, a bit of water now and again, and a bit of my fresh bread, baked for him. I fear as I stand by his bed, that he does not have much longer to abide with me. I hold him close, as he shivers under the bed clothes, and stroke his cheeks, trying to comfort him. He turns his head and smiles wanly up at me and I turn away, fearing that he will see the tears rolling down my cheeks. We have been together for so long …how can I possibly stand to be alone again…

I take a deep breath, stand up straight, and smile at him bravely. He looks so fragile. He motions me near and whispers of his love for me. I hold him close and tell him of my devotion to him. And, even as we speak, his eyes close and he takes his last breath. He is gone from me …. but forever will remain in my heart.

D'Noma Thornapple, Widow of Arod Thornapple

Death is a rarity in these lands. Although the Old Cemetary contains grave stones, who or what the graves hold is a mystery. The only known exile grave is that of Sir West, in a secluded region of the East Forest. Arcane knowledge hints that the Sisters of the shadowy Nox Sorora Cult have the power to repeal Death's Judgement. It is with trepidation that the Historian makes note of this, as the dark forces of the Sisterhood defy the Natural Order, and Arod's death seems a Natural event.

Lord Arod's life had many chapters: healer, fighter, Clan founder and leader (Years 534 and 539), and husband to the Lady D'Noma.

72nd Day of Summer (Feb 13, 2006) After many Zodiacs of Conspicuous Absence, MotH Rel'lim responds to the cries of Lisette ("…as Hunter faded"), Omega ("No fading!!!), and Tumble ("We be having a Crisis of Leadership!"). The MotH calls for Actives and Candidates for MotH. The Active Roll is: D'Noma, Gunslinger, Lisette, Matt, Omega, Rellim, Thalion, Tumble, Wrapper, and Yharren 8-0-0.

72nd Day of Autumn (Mar 7, 2006) Omega (with 8 "yes" votes) is Inducted as MotH, later in the year. Barrow and Shalyn, voted into the Clan in the Autumn of 560 remain un-inducted. Indeed, the highly talented healer, Janus, is voted into the Clan in Summer 562 (June 2006), yet languishes un-inducted. This MotH term is marked by what some may call Peace and Quiet.

Year 562 (Omega)

36th Day of Winter (Mar 20, 2006) Barrow is inducted, with 11 "yes" votes.

80th Day of Spring (Apr 22, 2006) Asren returns to the lands, after a dozen years of absence.

Year 563 (Omega)

80th Day of Spring (Jul 19, 2006) Metzetli Island is discovered, south of Dal'Noth.

31st Day of Autumn (Aug 20, 2006) Rhys turns in his badge to find or found a Clan more suited to his character.
